GRAND PRIX Premium horse mix is formulated from a blend of the following quality ingredients: Cooked and Flaked Oats, MICRBARLEY, MICRMAIZE, MICRLUPINS, Sunflower Seeds, Lucerne and Oaten Chaff, Molasses, Salt, Calcium Carbonated, Di-Calcium Phosphate, HYGAIN Chromium Yeast and HYGAIN Vitamin and Mineral Premix.
MICRONIZING
Micronization is a patented process by which the grain's moisture and infrared heat is used to reconfigure the grain's structural matrix. This leads to increased feed efficiency, with greater than 90% of the grain's starch being digested in the small intestine. With such an increase in digestion in the small intestine, and hence the reduced burden on the large intestine, this leads to fewer incidences of acidosis, colic, laminitis, fatigue and nervousness.
BIO CHROMIUM YEAST
The addition of organic chromium to performance horse diets has been shown to reduce the build up of lactic acid at the end of strenuous exercise or the closing stages of a race, and to increase the horse's ability to store glucose.
